A small-scale interior project that transforms vertical potential into everyday comfort. Through ergonomic planning, honest materials, and flexible spatial use, the home is shaped closely around how its owner lives and moves.

It began with a small house and a big challenge: how to transform a compact space into a cozy, functional home without compromising comfort.

By taking advantage of the existing high ceiling, we introduced a mezzanine study, maximizing space through careful, deliberate planning. Simple forms, efficient furniture, and clear proportions define our approach : design that is intentional, practical, and shaped around how people truly live. The client, a single, active professional in the music and entertainment industry, works on a mobile laptop and values freedom of movement throughout the home.

With an ergonomics-driven focus, raw concrete is balanced with warm wood, creating a grounded industrial-minimalist atmosphere. Every design decision responds to real constraints such as budget, lifestyle, and the need for a flexible, portable workspace. Eventually resulting in a home that is both functional and thoughtfully crafted.
